Day 1Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive and transfer into the Old Quarter. The first evening is best spent walking it and eating from the pavement.

The lake, the Temple of Literature and the old French quarter, at the pace the traffic allows.

Day 3Overnight on Ha Long Bay
East to the bay and onto a boat for the night — a completely different experience from the day trip.

Day 4South to Da Nang
Back to Hanoi for an internal flight south, arriving on the central coast in time for the beach.

Day 5The Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills
Up the cable car to the Golden Bridge and the hill complex, with the afternoon free on the coast.
